Big changes were made to breathe new life into this small home. We completed a full renovation of the kitchen, dining room, living room, and two home offices in this adorable 1100 square foot Pasadena bungalow. The homeowners envisioned a cozy, eclectic space to showcase their collection of vintage accessories and sentimental artwork, and above all a kitchen that functioned properly. We replaced flooring throughout with a mid-tone wood plank, and renovated the kitchen to include new custom cabinetry, an island, and panel-ready Fisher & Paykel appliances. The worktop features a waterfall island made of honed quartzite and furnishings are a mix of vintage lighting, new seating and a linen sofa by SixPenny. The fireplace and bar were refreshed with a bold green paint and the same quartzite treatment as the waterfall island. It was important that each space in the small footprint speak to each other, while still retaining different purposes and feelings. The home office walls were coated in limewash paint and the ceiling wallpaper features a bold metallic botanical print.
