ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER

We are seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate loves systems and processes, is organized, has a positive growth-oriented mindset, and ideally enjoys bringing interior design projects to life. You will assist our Lead Project Manager in managing multiple projects from inception through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and according to the studio’s standards of quality.

Please note that this is not a design position and the ideal candidate will have the skills and desire to help execute high end interior design projects conceptualized by the Principal Designer and design team.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist Lead Project Manager in coordinating project resources, including materials, equipment, and personnel.
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders.
Conduct site visits to ensure construction and installation align with design plans and specifications.
Maintain organized project documentation, including contracts, drawings, and correspondence.
Assist the Lead Project Manager in identifying opportunities to optimize processes and improve project efficiency.
Assist with placing orders on approved materials and furnishings and provide tracking updates to the team
Receive and inspect FF&E for damages and assist with return or replacement where necessary
Occasional use of AutoCAD to update drawings or design plans as necessary for pre-construction prep
Requirements:

At least 1 year proven experience in a project management role within the interior design, architecture, or construction industry.
Basic understanding of design principles and construction methods.
Knowledge of Google Suite including Sheets, Documents, and Google Drive
Familiarity with how to use project management and timekeeping software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and client satisfaction.
Basic knowledge of AutoCad (manipulating existing drawings in model space and plotting/printing through paper space)
Must reside in Los Angeles and must own a car
Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience working with residential/commercial/hospitality projects

Monday to Friday, Hybrid Remote. We are fully remote but you will need to commute to job sites and to our studio in Burbank as necessary to fulfill job duties listed above.
