San Marino, CA

*As seen on Property Brothers: Forever Home - Season 8*

We were thrilled to update the bones of this Spanish style home. It had all the character and none of the flow that this family of 4 needed. We began by relocating the kitchen from the back of the house to the front in order to create a better relationship with the formal dining area. Custom finishes include a plaster range hood, farmhouse sink and custom built in cabinetry with veined quartz countertops. A combination of open shelving and a pantry wall provided much-needed storage, and new custom windows were added throughout the space in keeping with the style of the home. An un-used pass through space became a fully functioning mud room, complete with new storage cabinets and a dreamy green palette. The laundry room was given a makeover with new cabinet paint, a new sink, and custom countertops and shelving for more storage and functioning work surfaces. New hardwood flooring was feathered in, and stained to match the original existing flooring for a cohesive look throughout.
