When our clients found themselves in need of more space, a well-thought-out 800 square foot expansion was the first step in transforming not just their home but also the way they lived in it. For this growing family, comfort, functionality, and a welcoming atmosphere were key priorities. The larger footprint now provides them with a more efficient kitchen and living room, designed to accommodate their evolving needs while maintaining a cozy and serene aesthetic.

The heart of this transformation was the kitchen—a space reimagined for both practicality and warmth. At its core is a generously sized island with ample seating, ensuring the family can gather for meals and homework sessions. Custom touches include the one of a kind paint color and brass detailing, and the functionality includes an "appliance garage" with counter-height cabinetry and a dedicated coffee bar, keeping countertops free of clutter. A step-in butler’s pantry provides additional storage, maintaining the kitchen’s clean, organized feel. In the new living room, a large sectional offers plenty of space for the family to lounge, read, and relax. Built-in cabinetry ensures that toys and everyday items have a designated home, and carefully curated accents in jewel tones were incorporated throughout the space. The former living room was transformed into a guest bedroom, allowing for extra accommodation when needed, and a new powder bath, designed with both indoor and outdoor access, anticipates the next phase of the family's home transformation—an outdoor pool. The forward-thinking design ensures that the family’s evolving lifestyle needs are seamlessly met.
