The design brief on this project was to take the client's global and art-forward perspective and turn up the volume on all of it, now that the children have grown up. Over a period of 18 months, we transformed every space in the home and re-worked the floor plan to accommodate the client, her 3 sons, and her mom (affectionately known by all as "Gaga"). The ADU was a full garage conversion, and we gutted the kitchen and moved the laundry room to accommodate a new bedroom and bathroom suite for her eldest son who is now off to college.

We took inspiration from the client's artwork and collections of travel souvenirs, so there is a cohesive story of reds and blues, greens, tropical, European, African and Eastern influences throughout. Bespoke custom furniture in rich fabrics and all new custom millwork can be found throughout the kitchen, dining and primary bathroom. Finally, we gave the exterior and pool a completely new look with bold tiles and a custom designed outdoor kitchen, all new furnishings and new landscape and hardscape at the front of the home.
